Course description | Task of the course: improve knowledge on terminology and key principles being the basis for strategic analysis of enterprises behaviour; study modern strategic analysis of the sector; apply modern methods of strategic analysis and forecast of firms' behaviour in terms of uncertainty and lack of information. |

Learning outcomes | As
the result the students should: a) be able to: apply key tools of strategic analysis; explore market environment in shaping competitive advantages and achieving the goals made; generalize results of analytical research; perform critical assessment of an enterprise operational sector and execute recommendations on improving the activity. b) know: the essence of the sector strategic analysis, its subject and object; the role of strategic analysis of the sector in managing modern enterprises; key tools of strategic analysis and peculiarities of the application; approaches to making corrections in the sector enterprises strategy; peculiarities of work of analytical experts; rights, obligations and responsibilities of analytical experts in developing strategies; c) learn skills of: applying methods and techniques of analytical researching to verify the management decisions; identifying opportunities to improve efficiency of production, financial and investment activity; developing strategies of enterprises development in the sector; applying in practice the key matrix methods of the strategic analysis. |
